Report for Thursday, Nov 9th

I keep hearing the strike is about to end, stay tuned.

Love Nuggets: Al Pacino thinks the $30,000 a month he’s paying his baby-mamma in child support is a little high, but what’s $30,000 a month to Al? Al is worth $120 million, if you divide $30,000 a month into $120 million, it would take 4000 months or 300 years to go through his $120 million. That’s the math I came up with, I think he can afford it.

TV News: Really great new series that dropped this week on the Paramount+ Lawmen: Bass Reeves! It’s about a slave who becomes free under very strange circumstances, and how his life changes others lives. It’s all true about a true hero! It stars David Oyelowo, who also played Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma! (4 Stars). … And, also coming to Paramount+ an incredible documentary that will shock you, JFK: What the Doctor Saw. All these years later, conversations with the doctors who did the autopsy on JFK, the conflicting reports, suggestion what most of believe, you can’t trust the government. November 17th (4 Stars).

Sports Nuggets: Look for more and more professional athletes to start doing Podcasts. Mookie Betts, Von Miller, Travis and Jason Kelce, The Peyton’s all have podcasts.

And a dozen more are coming in the new year. … We talked about how popular the NFL is and let’s not forget Taylor Swift’s popularity. After being promoted that Taylor would be in the owners box watching her boyfriend Travis Kelce on October 1st, that game had 27 million TV viewers, up 22% from last years Week 4 game, that matched the same teams, on the same network, at the same time!

And only two more days of stupid signs, this one was in radio station 91X in San Diego, Next to the copying machine in the sales department the sign read, “Please do not put heavy items on the copying machine and thank you for your copulation!”
