Love Nugget: 64 year old Madonna is dating her 29 year old boxing instructor. Okay.

Big TV News: On Netflix, Saturday, Chris Rock will respond in detail about the slap. He’ll say Will Smith has been a bully for years and how much bigger Will is than him! Chris will share something we’ve all known, Will’s wife Jada has been having affairs for over 20 years. Chris will also talk about what a true friend he has been to Will Smith, and for all he got for his loyalty and friendship he was was attacked. There’s a lot more, but it will all be done with comedy, I’ve scooped you a lot and this special sounds riveting.  

Just before Chris Rock, Netflix will air a show called, the Show Before the Show, described as a live commentary with personal thoughts from Matthew McConaughey, Arsenio Hall, Amy Schumer, Cedric the Entertainer, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart and many others. Like the Chris Rock special, sounds like this special will be riveting too.

Interesting Award show sidebar. Congratulations to Sally Field who was given the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award but how about Sally’s son, Peter Craig who is nominated for Best Screenplay for co-writing Top Gun Maverick. Peter was also Oscar nominated for, he was also nominated for writing The Batman and The Hunger Games. 

Show Biz Business: The BBC unions have announced they are planning the biggest strike in 13 years which would blackout almost all TV, just four days before the King’s coronation. … We talked about Tom Brady wanting to do stand-up, but now we know Tom’s people have been in talks about Tom hosting 13 roasts of famous people like the very old Dean Martin roasts which would allow him to be funny. Sounds like a hail Mary bomb!  

Odds and Ends: Just named the five cleanest cities in America and I’ve lived in 4 of them. #5 Norfolk, Virginia where my dad was stationed in the Navy for 6 months, #4 Long Beach,  California where my daughter Lacy was born, #3 Naples, Florida, which I’ve never been. #2 is Virginia Beach which shares a border with Norfolk and #1 Honolulu where I grew up.
