Report for Thursday, Aug 27th

Regarding TMZ’s Harvey Levin and the show’s producer Warner bros. being sued for discrimination and retaliation against women. I saw Harv everyday at the O.J. trial and while he is a great journalist, he’s an old school dude and I’m not surprised that the old school attitude may have leaked into TMZ offices, however, Harv is a great guy and can’t believe he would purposely discriminate against woman.

Early Movie Review: It’s, Tenet, and that’s the word that that can change the world, even stop W.W.3. It’s where the future meets the present, but being that it’s a sci-fi, how it happens and why for that matter is anybodies guess. I found this movie overbearing, confusing and pointless. The best part are the special effects and Denzel Washington’s son John David Washington who is solid. F.Y.I., John David was a great football player in college was even drafted by the Rams! Christopher Nolan wrote, produced and directed this, and to be honest I expected better. (2 ½ Stars).

I only met Jerry Seinfeld once and although I was a huge fan of his show, I was not impressed. How do I say this, he was a jerk. Seinfeld is telling New Yorkers that while thousands are fleeing the city because of violence, taxes, trash piling up and Mayor De Blasio about to be recalled, Jerry tells New Yorkers not to worry, just stay put. Meanwhile Seinfeld commutes from his $40 million Hampton home to his $24 million Manhattan home via his personal helicopter. Not the average guy with average problems. So hey, Seinfeld, shut the front door! … Oh, just remembered I saw Jerry eating lunch outside at Chin Chin’s, when a fan stopped by, not for an autograph but just to say hello, Jerry screamed “Leave me alone!”

TV News: Hearing great things about a six part mini-series where Samuel L. Jackson will produce and host the docu-series for the BBC Network, and airing on Epic here on September 14th and on demand. It’s the history of slavery, blacks selling blacks to whites, the horrible trips across the ocean and much more. It’s titled Enslaved. This is must see TV!
