Report for Thursday, Apr 7th

Talk about publicity whores, the Kardashians take the cake. Although they sent out a formal press release that Kourtney and Travis had gotten married, they even had three photographers shooting the ceremony. But something just wasn’t right and it wasn’t, they let this sham go for 24 hours before it was learned it was all a publicity stunt! Wednesday morning they copped they didn’t have a license and the wedding was a sham! But for 24 hours they lead everybody believe it was real! Like I said publicity whores.

Movie News: Finally the Elvis movie is going to be seen. It will debut at the Cannes next month. The movie will show Elvis’s story through the eyes of his lifelong manager, Tom Parker played by Tom Hanks, prediction this will be a huge hit or a huge bomb.

TV Scoop: Lorn Michaels is begging Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian to host Saturday Night Live.

Odds and Ends: Coachella opens today and the vip tickets cost $1250. I was at the first Coachella back 1999, it was 109 degrees, a shortage of water, no shade, it was miserable. It featured Beck, Moby, and Jane’s Addiction. And I recall tickets were about 25 bucks. … Very odd story, in the 8 years they held the White House, Obama never once invited Biden to Dinner at the W.H. residence. Unbelievable but don’t know what it means. … Baseball season opens today and a lot of celebrities love their teams and have season tickets to prove it. Like Alice Cooper loves the Arizona Diamondbacks,  Jimmy Carter (97) has season tickets to the Atlanta Braves. Pat Sajak has tickets for the Baltimore Orioles, Tom Hanks for Oakland A’s, Tina Fey has Philadelphia Phillies, Paul Rudd has Kansas City, Stephan King has Boston Red Sox, Will Farrell has California Angels and Bill Murray has tickets for the Cubs. … The hottest show on Broadway is, Take Me Out. A drama that is also hilarious, about baseball and a lot more. It’s about being gay, depression, everything over the top and, oh yeah, a lot of frontal nudity.

Final Sports Nugget: The Masters and Tiger Woods starts today, guarantee huge TV event.
