TV News: Lindsay Lohan narrates Lovestruck High, a new reality show that brings 15 single people from England to the U.S. to attend a high school for the lonely? Coming to Amazon Prime May 18th. Is it just me or does this sound like a disaster. … On PBS, Ken Burns latest biopic/documentary, Benjamin Franklin, is now airing and while it’s good, it’s not Baseball or The Dust Bowl but still very worth watching. It Stars Paul Giamatti, Liam Neeson and Josh Lucas. If you like history, you will love this. … Rumor that the NFL have told sponsors of the new United States Football League, which starts this weekend on FOX and NBC, that they risk losing their advertising place with the NFL. And F.Y.I. there is a long list of advertisers just waiting to buy NFL games, so rumor is possible. … And speaking of rumors, story floating around the darling, talented Kenedi Anderson who pulled out of American Idol because should she make the Top 10, which she probably would, she wanted nothing to do with the iron clad American Idol multi-year contract. The story also hints a couple record labels, CAA and William Morris are interested in her so who needs American Idol.  

Movie News: Pre-Pre-Pre Production starts Monday on John Lennon’s biopic. It’s a hush/hush project, all we know is it stars with Lennon in High School and follows him till his death. For the last year Yoko and John son’s have been working with Anthony McCarten and Dexter Fletcher who wrote and directed the Bohemian Rhapsody film respectively. While the script is done there’s no cast yet and 20th Century Fox is the studio of record.

Odds and Ends: More and more long time Kardashian employees are telling stories they are often paid late, shorted pay, promised raises they never get and denied vacation time. … A long time friend who was Depp’s neighbor as a kid tells me Depp was cool but if you crossed him, his revenge would never end. Hello Amber Heard. … Have you seen Jonah Hill lately? He’s thin downed, has a buzz cut, bald spot and all gray!
