Today’s Report originates from Palm Springs, California where it will be 77 degrees!
Happy Thanksgiving week, but not for Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Osaka, Shaquille O’Neal, Trevor Lawrence, Steph Curry, Kevin O’Leary and Larry David. They are named in an investigation for not reporting by law their financial profits with the Crypto, FTX scumbag, mini-Madoff ponzy dude Sam Bankman-Fried. There are layers and layers of this onion that will involve billions of dollars.
More Shameful Nuggets: Cory Palka is a LAPD Captain who has dreamed of being an actor. While maneuvering to meet Hollywood bigwigs, Palka managed to be a part of TV shows like Bosch and directly involved with Hollywood special details. One of the bigwigs the Captain got to know was CBS President Les Moonves. And after Moonves was fired from CBS following their investigation of the sexual assault charges against him, it was turned over to the LAPD. But somehow that investigation was mysteriously dropped and many believe it was because of Moonves friendship with the Captain. Something stinks! … More stench, is anybody surprised Ticket Master is ripping off people? There have been stories of them scalping fans as well as artist of millions and millions of dollars, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars over the decades. The Taylor Swift fiasco is just the latest. There will be a congressional investigation, which is like the Foxes investigating the chicken coop. … What is up with Major League Baseball? Despite open gambling on games, now a billion dollar business, and cheating so bad umpires have to almost strip search pitchers when the come off the mound, and the Astro’s actually caught cheating. Yet MLB still won’t let Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame! Shame!
Since it’s a holiday week, I’ll have a movie suggestion everyday you can get on line, each one of my favorites. Today, Planes, Trains and Automobiles. While most people have seen it, bet it’s been a long time ago. And since it’s based on family and traveling for Thanksgiving, it’s perfect. Steve Martin, John Candy and Kevin Bacon star in this hilarious movie made in 1987. It made $50 million and is a definite classic.
