On Friday I talked about Lady Gaga saying she may may never get married, and I was reminded by hundred of listeners that Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, Kevin Spacey, Edie Falco, John Cusack, Mindy Kaling, Goldie Hawn, Ryan Seacrest, Oprah, Chelsea Handler, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jon Hamm and many other stars have not been married. … On the other hand, on Friday Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth filed for divorce after 12 years.
Scoopage: Over the weekend, Police interviewed a half dozen High School friends of both Buster Murdaugh and Steven Smith who’s death eight years ago has been re-opened from a hit and run to a homicide. The six interviewed were with Murdaugh and Smith hours before his body was found and several of those interviews were lengthy. Netflix is there.
Movie News; Vertigo, the 1958 Alfred Hitchcock Thriller and multiple award winner will be remade by Paramount Studios and playing Jimmy Stewart’s role will be Robert Downey Jr. who calls Vertigo his favorite movie. … You would think that after winning best picture and sweeping the Oscars that Everything Everywhere All at Once would be the most watched Oscar nominated movie streaming. Nope, #1 Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, #2 Steven Spielberg’s The Fablemans, followed by Brendan Fraser’s The Whale, then Tom Hank’s A Man Called Otto, Top Gun: Maverick and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Everything Everywhere All at Once comes in 7th place! Personally I liked all those movies more than Everything Everywhere All at Once. … This week, Bruce Willis’s last movie called, Assassin, will be streaming and unfortunately it is the worst movie Bruce ever made. Most of his limited dialog is dubbed by another. Ben Affleck had many meetings with Michael Jordan trying to get Michael’s approval to make the movie, Air, about Nike and the Air Jordan but Jordan finally gave his blessings!
Finally, for some weird reason the BBC is carrying the $300,000 lawsuit trial brought against Gwyneth Paltrow by an 76 year old man claiming she ran into him on a ski run and suffered broken ribs and brain damage. I don’t know what really happened, but watching Gwyneth on the witness stand saying he ran into her, to me, looks like she’s lying.
