Happy St. Patricks Day! A lot of Hollywood will celebrate with huge parties including Courteney Cox, Conan O’Brien, Pink, Mariah Carey, Joe Jonas and Will Smith!
Speaking of Will Smith, the slapper, Will will release his first sudo-rap album in 22 years on March 28th called, Based on a True Story. A lot of the album will be old songs re-done. I don’t get it, is there a clammoring for a new Will Smith rap album? I’d rather he make a good movie, which he also hasn’t done in 22 years. Just saying!
TV Ratings Last Week: No sports for a change, but that will certainly change with March Madness starting this week. For the record, here are the Top 5 most watched programs last week starting with #5 Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, #4 NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, #3 The FBI, #2 Tracker and coming in #1 World News Tonight with David Muir. F.Y.I. Survivor came in #13. By the way, I will have my March Madness picks tomorrow!
Movie Box Office: So Novocaine did so-so Box Office this past weekend. However the Box Office numbers over all this past weekend were the worst of the year! And now Hollywood is bracing for Friday’s National release Disney’s live-action, Snow White. I hope it stiffs. For the record the 1937 animated Disney original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs cost $1,266,000 to make and has brought in $197,836,000 a classic. This new Disney version of Snow White cost $254,426,000. Walt Disney got to be spinning in his grave. He built his company for kids and families, now it’s the worst multi-conglomerate, money hungry, greedy corporation in Hollywood! From raising prices at their parks to cutting their employees salaries. So sad.
