Nothing to do with Hollywood, a personal story. I played my regular golf on Saturday with my regular guys, D, Kelly and the Legend, who all happen to be black. We played a new course and when we got to the starter on the first hole we were asked for our receipts, I had forgotten mine in the car when I grabbed my clubs. Starter said I had to go get it, but as I started back he yelled, “Ah, that’s okay.” My buddy Legend said, I guarantee you 100% if you were black, he’d send you back to get the receipt. I totally believe Legend and could see his point of view. Made me think.
