Report for Monday, Feb 25th

This week’s Pop Quiz theme, celebrities who can’t/didn’t do something the rest of us can/did. Today, who never graduating from High School? Is it Mark Cuban, Mark Ruffalo, Mark Wahlberg or Mark Twain?

Okay, and now the 91st Oscar Report, starting off with the good and the bad, Red Carpet. Best Dressed: loved silver gowns worn by, J-Lo,  Amy Adams and Brie Larson. Also liked, Melissa McCarthy in a black pants suit and what appeared to be a cape.

Worse Dressed: Glenn Close had a gold dress on that weighed 42 lbs. Looked like big stick of butter. Charlize Theron had ugly chocolate brown hair and even uglier blue dress. Spike Lee looked like Captain Steuben from Love Boat. And to top it off, all purple for Prince. However Spike did win for best Adapted screenplay and went all politics.

The show itself, It was the best Oscar Opening since Billy Crystal rode a horse on stage. Adam Lambert and Queen did a great medley that was fabulous, who needs a host. And then a fabulous movie collage, but some of the acceptance speeches were hideous, and the three accepting for Make Up looked like they were on drugs. But to be fair, there were a couple cool tear jerkers. But loved Mike Myers and Dana Carvey bringing back Wayne’s World.

Of my Pick Six, I got two will wins and got two unfortunately will wins. Missed two outright, Amy Adams lost to Regina King in Beal Street and the shocker, Olivia Colman beat out Glenn Close is a shocker for Best actress. So I was 4 for 6.

The best Post Oscar parties were Elton John’s Annual Beat Aids Bash! Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Rami Malek,  Mick Jagger, Leonardo DiCaprio, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Aniston, Michael Jordan, Paris Hilton and Al Pacino.

Answer – At age 14, Wahlberg was already in jail, had stolen 2 cars, caught shoplifted and selling drugs and never finished his freshman year in High School but now worth $150 Million.
