Going to keep Super Bowl comments at a minimum. Commercials were great, how about those Chiefs, a great game for a change and I won some some money!
Love Nugget: It’s a family affair, Lindsey Lohan, her husband, her sister, brother and Mom all went to Church on Sunday and then they watched the Super Bowl game together at their Long Island home for the first time in years. The dad, Michael is in Texas and per his probation restrictions can not leave the State and I’m sure he wasn’t invited.
Movie News: Despite Tim Allen voicing Buzz Lightyear in all the Toy Story movies, producers choose Chris Evans in the Lightyear movie. But, Tim will be back as Buzz in the final Toy Story movie. Tim says Buzz is one of his favorite roles. … Magic Mike’s Last Dance is just ridiculous! Nearly nude male dancing strippers, a pointless plot and really bad acting! I don’t get the appeal of women watching semi-nude men anymore than men watching semi-nude women at strip club bars. I mean if you are hungry why would you go watch a guy cook a steak you don’t get to eat? Just asking.
Looking Ahead, four films in the wings. Scream 6, best of the franchise and Jenna Ortega who plays Wednesday on Netflix is fabulous in this. Opens March 10th. … Next, AIR, the true story of the super shoe salesman Sonny Vaccaro who convinces the failing Nike company to bet the whole company on some rookie NBA player named Michael Jordan. Stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, only in theaters on April 5th. … And there’s going to be a squeal to the 1990 Dick Tracy. Warren Beatty produced, directed and stared along with Madonna, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman and Kathy Bates. Beatty’s putting together a even bigger cast but at 85, Warren won’t be playing Tracy! … And a great documentary, My Name Is Alfred Hitchcock, with exclusive interviews from the man himself as well as some of the stars from his great movies. Alfred directed Psycho, The Birds, North by Norhtwest, Rear Window, Vertigo and many others. Coming to Netflix.
