It happens in threes, Tony Dow, Vin Scully and now the passing of Roger E. Mosley, who co-starred with Tom Selleck in the original Magnum, knew him then, great guy! Rest in peace!
We almost lost Anne Heche following her drunk infested fiery automobile crash in LA. Anne has been a tortured soul her whole life, raped from the ages of 8 to 12 by her gay, cocaine addicted Baptist father. Her loving brother Nate died in an auto crash in 1983, and to this day, insists she regularly talks to him through a fortune teller. She dated Ellen DeGeneres and Steve Martin and ran from both those relationships. Anne also had two kids with Coley Laffoon. Alcohol and drugs have had a hold on her for over 40 years. Luckily she’s been upgraded from critical to stable. Keep her in prayer.
A lot of Show Biz Business: Months ago I told you Saturday Night Live is about to be canceled and that rumor is now fact, no exact date but S.N.L. is over. You know in the beginning S.N.L. made a lot amazing huge stars, Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Tina Fey, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Will Farrell, Bill Murray, Ben Stiller, Jimmy Fallon, Robert Downey Jr. and I could go on and on. The show was funny but no more. Only star to come from S.N.L. recently is Pete Davidson and Pete didn’t get famous from doing S.N.L. he got famous from doing Kim Kardashian. Oh yeah, they broke up over the weekend, c’est la vie.
I have been covering Hollywood and reviewing movies for decades and decades and decades and continuity has gotten really bad. I never even mention it anymore, but my boy TV Stu pointed out. Examples, When Rooster and Cruise run across the enemy base to steal a plane they don’t have helmets, but when they get in the enemy plane they have helmets. And F.Y.I. the Top Gun Flight school was moved from San Diego to Fallon, NV 27 years ago. As President Biden would say, “Come on man.”
