Movie News: I remember the story back in 1984 when Reagan opened relationship with China, and China in return invited the United States, Italy, and Australia to compete in the first Women’s World Soccer Championship. Only problem, the United States didn’t have a National Women’s Soccer team. Officials searched for a team and decided to go with a 19 younger Dallas high school team, called the Sting, naming themselves after the Neuman/Redford Movie. The coach was Bill Kinder, who admitted he knew little about soccer but he paid all the girls expenses and the results would shock the world! And now there’s going to be a movie about it and the movie called The Dallas Sting, and stars Matthew McConaughey as coach Bill Kinder. I’ll have more casting next week.
