Hot Love Nugget: Apparently breaking his back has made Simon Cowell change his mind on one major life decision. While he has said he would never get married, friends say Simon now wants to marry his longtime girlfriend and his baby momma, Lauren Steadman. Apparently Lauren has already said yes. Good for them.
The Democrat Convention opened last night and continues all week. Because of the Coronavirus I will be missing the Democrat and Republic conventions for the first time in over 20 years. However, I have somebody there and will still have some scoop, like the ladies of Hollywoord Demi Lovato, Debra Messing, America Ferrera and Lady Gaga who will be there, blogging and virtually speaking.
One more Political/Hollywood note, since announcing his run for President, Kanye West popularity has gone up, but record sales are down, how odd.

Come on man, those steps may have been impressive 40 years ago, they come across as goofy, corny, amateurish and embarrassing. … Celebrities on vacation during the Coronavirus, Jessica Alba in Wyoming. Kylie Jenner is in the Turks and Caicos. Christina Aguilera and son going coast to coast in a Airstream trailer. And Justin Bieber, wife Hailey and Ariana Grande hanging out in St. George, Utah.
Great old story from a friend. Years ago, this friend took her son shopping and for lunch at the Chicago Neiman-Marcus, after lunch they shared a famous Neiman Chocolate Chip cookie. When the friend asked for the recipe, the snotty waitress told her she would have to pay for the recipe. When she asked how much waitress said, 250, thinking that was $2.50, about the same cost of the cookie, so she said fine add it to the bill. About a month later she got the bill $23.00 for the food and $250 dollars for the recipe. She called and complained but they refused to refund the money. So my friend e-mailed that recipe to everybody on her mailing list. Let me know if you want it.
