Big story since we last spoke. Despite the negative blow back, Cher’s continuing to insist she could have saved George Floyd’s life despite all the cops at the scene. I’m sorry but I’ve known Cher a long time, back when she and Sonny were singing under the name of Caesar and Cleo and I was driving them to some of their $100 gigs. Cher has always been a ridiculous self important person but her continuing with this being able to save George Floyd’s life is even more ridiculous than her ego. I’m not surprised.
TV News: I tried to watch Saturday Night Live on Saturday and it was the worst ever. Horrible. … today at 10 A.M. one of my favorite studios, the old Warner Brothers in Burbank and the entire cast of the 1994 to 2004 sitcom Friends will start shooting their sequel. … And as I told you months ago, CSI: Las Vegas is coming back along with William Petersen and Jorja Fox. They will start table reads this week as well. … And in case you forgot, Anthony Zuiker was a valet at the MGM in Las Vegas and between parking cars came up with the idea of a CSI show based in Las Vegas on his days off for almost 2 years. Anthony would go to L.A. to pitch the idea for the show. Finally Jerry Bruckheimer heard it, bought it and Anthony went from parking cars to making over $100 million dollars. And now you know rest of the story, again.
Odds and Ends: Malibu, Hollywood, Huntington Beach and Los Angeles in general are all reporting hotels, restaurants and shops continue be be way down despite Covid cases being down. … Believe it or not they are making a Broadway Musical about that Hollywood Madam, the whore, Heidi Fleiss. Why they would do that, who would go see that? I have no idea. Coming before the end of this month is the release of a book about 2 years of my life based on true stories you won’t believe. Unbelievable, more coming soon. The title The Imposters. And as predicted here, Gozaga and Baylor tonight, Gonzaga wins it all.
