Movie News: Clint Eastwood next project is The Ballad of Richard Jewell. I feel very close to this story because I was in Atlanta’s Olympic Park in 1996 when a bomb went off, killing one and injuring 111 people. It was the most embarrassing time for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper and the inept, shameful G.B.I. also known as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Within 24 hours, both blamed the bombing on a very kind, benign security guard Richard Jewell. Talk about a rush to judgement, it was the blind grasping at air. Jewell had nothing to do with the bombing, it ruined his life and caused him an early death. Eric Rudolph was the real bomber who ran free for 6 years setting off at least 4 other bombs, now serving 4 lifetime sentences. I smell Oscar!
Health Nuggets: Alex Trebek has made another statement regarding his cancer, saying he is taking treatment and still feeling fine. However Alex has sold his Lake mansion in California. … And Mick Jagger walking a brisk 5,000 steps everyday last week in New York, doing better.
