Report for Monday, Apr 11th

Love Nuggets: No big surprise Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are formally engaged. They have bought two houses together, made multiple million dollar investments together and have been basically dating for 18 years. I think they are real deal and are really in true love. … On the other hand, in a few hours, Johnny Depp and Amanda Heard will come face to face in a Fairfax, Virginia courtroom and 12 Jurors will start hearing the $100 million suit and counter suit for defamation of character. This will get ugly! … And new billionaire pregnant Rhianna will take 2 years off once her baby is born.

Lots of TV News: Bill Mahar’s new #Adulting on HBO is 4 stars. Maher has never been funnier, more real, relevant and sincere! His war on wokeness and cancel culture is priceless. My favorite line was about colleges when Bill said, “Kids used to go to college to lose their virginity, now they go to college and lose their sense of humor.” … Nothing funny about Amy Poehler’s new show on NBC called, Swedish Death Cleaner. It’s @ how to face death in a positive way originated in Sweden, coming in 2023. … Ozark’s final season is in two parts. First four episodes aired in January from the 2nd to the 4th. Part two starts April 29th. … Head’s up, if you haven’t seen the 6 part NBC mini series, The Thing About Pam, a true story starring Renee Zellweger, may I suggest you binge the first five episodes on Hulu or on demand. The 6th and final episode airs tomorrow. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 56%, I gave it a 3 ½ stars! I love it and Renee will get an Emmy for her performance.

Most odd nugget in a long time. John Hinkley, who shot Ronald Reagan, a D.C. cop, a secret service agent and Press Secretary James Brady who was paralyzed and later died from the shooting. Hinckley is now out of prison, has taken up a singing career and will do a live concert at the Market Hotel in July. I don’t make this up folks!
