It Aloha Friday, Finally a Friday, Movie Review Friday and the best movie of the week is The Wild Robot. Dream Works and Universal Pictures have come up with, in my opinion some of the most brilliant animation in history! Breathtaking! Our hero, a robot named Roz is marooned on an uninhabited island, except for some very interesting animals. No problem for Roz, who has a unique way of relating to all the new friends! Fabulous story with a great twist. The pace, the humor, the tenderness, the love and also full of joy. It’s very touching. Everything about this movie is perfect (Rated PG) – (100 Minutes) – (4 Stars). … Also opening today, Megalopolis. Francis Ford Coppola who gave us the Godfather, now he gives this abortion that is basically a Roman Epic in Modern day New York. This film beats you over the head with chaos with no rhyme or reason! One catastrophe after another! I just didn’t get it, sorry (Rated R) – (140 Minutes) – (1 Star).
TV News: A Barbara Streisand documentary has been green lighted, my question is, why? There’s no more conceded, ego, boring person than Barbara Streisand. Not to mention she’s been out of the mainstream for 40 years. … The #1 series on Netflix is Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, who shotgunned their parents to death. The sidebar, some of the relatives of these two psychopath killers say producers didn’t talk to them and say the series is unfair. Look, I covered that trial 30 years ago, these complaining relatives should be ashamed they are related to these murders! They should be hiding!
And today the auction for the 50th Home Run baseball hit by Shohei Ohtani begins. Starting bid $500,000. Mark McGuire’s 70th Home Run sold for $3 million! Scoopage, I think Ohtani’s ball will go for $4 million and Ohtani may be the buyer!
