Movie Review Friday: The best film is defiantly, Kajillionaire, which is unpredictable, refreshing, hilarious, thought provoking and full of surprises. One of the best films of the year! When two slick con artists try to teach their daughter the tricks of the trade, all is fine, but then everything goes awry when a stranger is brought into the “family.” This movie is Dark yet full of laughs. Written and directed by Miranda July, with Evan Rachel Wood, Debra Winger, Gina Rodriguez and Richard Jenkins. (121 Minutes) – (3 ½ Stars).
Movie News: In February, when the world learned of Coronavirus, screenwriter Simon Boyes started writing a comedy/drama romance movie about a world wide pandemic in 2022, called it Songbird. Stars Demi Moore and will be released in March. Interesting, shooting the film was easy, everybody in it wore mask and kept their distance. More Demi Moore news, she will also star in a TV mini series on Amazon, a spin-off from her very successful podcast called, Dirty Diana. Looks at women’s views on sex.
Odds and Ends: Larry King has been married 7 times to 6 different women, and the latest to divorce him is demanding $33,000 dollars a month alimony. Larry is 86, good luck. … Personal thought, if you are one of those folks who refuse or don’t want to wear a mask when out in public, again, look at it this way. Every time you get in the car, you buckle up just to be safe. However the chances of getting in an auto accident are a lot lower than catching coronavirus! So why wouldn’t you wear a mask, just to be safe? … Yesterday Kris Jenner put out a press release that the ending KUWK was a surprise but quick decision, as Reagan would say, “Ah shut up.” Enough already! … Just last month a brand new biography was finished about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, not to be confused with RBG, this new one simply called, Ruth. It looks more into her personal life as a mother and her time away from the court. May she Rest in peace.
