Report for Friday, Sept 16th

Quickies: So R. Kelly was found guilty of only 6 of 13 sexual charges, which should add about 12 years to his already 30 year sentence he’s serving. Lock him up! … There could be an intervention this weekend for Britney Spears, oh that should work! She hates her dad, hates her sister, hates her mom, her kids can’t stand her! Good luck. On Tuesday, Britney’s son, Sean celebrated his 17th birthday. Britney wished him a happy birthday on social media they didn’t even speak! And while Britney has said she probably won’t perform again, her team has already contacted a Vegas casino about a residency deal. The casino was not interested at all.

Movie Review Friday: Running The Bases is a faith based film about a newly hired high school baseball coach, but his faith runs an error with the school principal. This is a feel good movie that may not be for everybody, but it was for me and families will love it (Rated PG) – (90 Minutes) – (3 Stars). … Also opening today, Clerks III. If you have seen the first two, enough said but be aware, Randal has a heart attack and gets his buddies to help him make a movie about his life! Unfortunately the making of the movie isn’t as good as the movie they’re trying to make.

If you like pratfalls, corny, goofy and brain dead, this movie is for you but not me! (Rated R) – (90 Minutes) – (2 Stars).

And, The trailer of Babylon is finally out and you can check it out online, fabulous! The story of wild, out of control, crazy, drugs, booze, sex and suicides, it’s the real Hollywood in the 1920’s and stars Brad Pitt, Olivia Wilde, Margot Robbie, Toby McGuire, Flea, Jean Smart, Spike Jones and many others. There’s never been a film like this, it’s a true look at old Hollywood! Coming 2023. Another trailer out on line, Whitney Hoston’s bio, I Want To Dance with Somebody! (4 Stars).

Finally, I am confused. They say Eric Clapton’s ticket sales in Boston are slow because of his odd belief on anti-vaccines. Who cares?
