As predicted here weeks ago, yesterday Kevin Spacey was found not guilty in that odd 36 year old civil sexual assault lawsuit brought by Anthony Rapp who claimed Spacey touched him in a sexual way when he was 14. I knew this case was dead in the water.
Movie Review Friday: And these two movie reviews will surprise you! We start with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam. Another super hero flick from DC Comics. The Rock is fabulous, the effects are sensational, superhero movie fans will love it and it will do killer, killer box office, however, sorry, as a movie it’s just not very good. But good enough to see if you like the genre! (Rated PG13) – (2 Hours) – (2 ½ Stars). … Next, George Clooney and Julia Roberts in the corny romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise. They play a divorce couple who re-unite in hopes to stop their daughter from making the same mistake by getting married, if you like Mamma Mia you’ll like Ticket to Paradise. A little sappy, but I liked it. (Rated PG-13) – (100 Minutes) – (3 Stars) F.Y.I. Rotten Tomatoes didn’t like either of these movies, however both are worth seeing.
Odds and Ends: Gwyneth Paltrow says she can’t sleep because she’s worried about a recession. Ah, Paltrow is worth $75 million, I’ll think she’ll be alright. … And Meghan Markel says she was reduced to a bimbo and treated like a sex object when she was a suitcase girl on Deal or No Deal. Poor poor Meghan, hey Meghan Shut da front door! I’m sorry but I just can’t stand that woman, so blessed and all she does is complain.
