Movie Review: And it’s the end of the longest horror movie franchise in history and appropriately named, Halloween Ends. And 63 year old Jamie Lee Curtis makes her perfect farewell as Laurie Strode and the evil Michael Myers face off for the last time. There are big surprises and amazing thrills. If you have seen none of them or all 11, yes 11 franchise films, you’ve got to see this one. When the first movie was released, nobody thought there would be another no less 11 (Rated R) – (2 Hours) – (4 Stars). … Next is, Emily, the biography/drama of the 17th century English novelist, Emily Bronte. Harassed by her family her whole life because of her strange behavior, she is credited for writing the great novel Wuthering Heights. This is an artsy fartsy movie that will not be a huge box office hit, but for what it is, it’s good. Emma Mackey is Emily (3 Stars). … And if the film, Till, is playing, see it! The story of the racist murder of 14 year old Emmet Till! This is a must see movie that will make you sick, but must see (4 Stars).

Odds and Ends: It’s a go, next season there’ll be America’s Got Talent All Stars, bringing back the best of the best of the contestants who have performed over the 17 years the show has been on. Nobody’s asking me, but seems like they’re just reaching. Does anybody care? … Have you seen the pictures released of a clean shaven Johnny Depp? He looks like a completely different person.
