First things first, so thrilled the Dodgers won in 5 games, as I predicted here. However, what’s up with these jerks setting fires and looting as a celebration? As my long gone grandmother Neena would say, “They should line them up and mow them down!”
Movie Review Friday: Liam Neeson and Ron Pearlman star in, Absolution, opening today. Neeson plays an over the hill gangster who wants to make things right but the mob is standing in his way. A mystery, crime thriller that has some flaws, but I liked it! (Rated R) – (2 Hours) – (3 Stars). … I’ve been talking about Tom Hanks’ sentimental, little corny and heart tugging movie, Here, a long time. Opens today! (Rated PG-13) – (100 Minutes) and while Rotten Tomatoes gave it only a 32%, I say (3 Stars). But again, that’s just my opinion. Example, I like wine, my wife hates wine. … And then there’s Hit Pig, opening everywhere today. The animated film about a pig who catches escaped animals and return them to their owners! This movie will be loved by everybody who are under 12 years old, not me. (PG) – 90 Minutes) – (2.5 Stars).
TV News: First the good news. In the third quarter, Peacock/NBC made money on the Olympics, Twisters and Despicable 4. Bad news, they lost $436 million in that third quarter.
Good news for Cinemark Theaters, they made $187 million last quarter, no surprise with $10 popcorn.
Well I just purchased my plane ticket and booked my hotel as I did for the Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden Inaugurations. and I’ll be in Washington D.C., January 20th, 2025 covering that Inauguration for you, no matter who that president might be!
I love covering big history events and folks, nothing, is bigger than the inauguration!
