Report for Friday, Nov 11th

First things first, Happy Veterans Day and thanks to all of you who served!

The movie of the week is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Great cast and it’s a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman’s character. The effects are fabulous and I loved the creative time warp that is fascinating and works on every level. In the battles between Marvel and DC, Marvel wins this one! However, it is not as good as the original! It’s a fantasy, adventure with a lot of action and almost 3 hours (PG-13) – (3 Stars).

Movie News: Greenlighted, a biopic, a feature film on the life story of Snoop Dogg. But I wonder if they will include his membership in the Crips, being accused of drug trafficking, assault, attempted murder and all the other crimes he’s been charged with. … Thrilled that one of my favorite actresses, Viola Davis, has been cast in the starring role in the movie, G-20. Viola plays the U.S. President who is attending the G-20 meeting when attacked by terrorist. This movie will debut at theaters and then slide to Amazon. … Two of my other favorite actresses, Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek have been signed to star in the film, Seesaw Monster. All we know is that they hate each other but are forced to work together in a hilarious action comedy that will air next year on Netflix.

TV News: Handmaid’s Tale season 6 will air October next year, filming next spring. Casey Anthony Setting the Record Straight will air on November 29th on Peacock. Casey’s 2 year old daughter, Caylee disappeared for 30 days but Casey never reported it! Finally Casey’s mother called the police! Casey was arrested for murder after Kaley’s body was found wrapped in duck tape and trash bags in a swamp by the family home. Casey refused to testify and while 96% of court witnesses believed she was guilty, she was found not guilty. Now she’s getting paid a lot of money to talk about the case. Disgusting! However, since she’s been found not guilty, maybe she’ll admit to the murder. I doubt it!
