Three Movie Reviews today. Starting off with Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase. From the old Nancy Drew Teenage detective novels, Sophia Lillis is the perfect Nancy, and the haunted House is the perfect venue in the new town she moved to. Loved this campy, sometimes silly but 100% fun film. (PG) – (86 Minutes) – 93 Stars). … Next, Wonder Park, a Nickelodeon film that kids under 10 will love, the rest of you will be checking your watch. It’s cute and if you’re 10 years old it’s a 4, if you are a parent it’s a 0. Take the kids, bite the bullet and sneak in a beer. … Finally, Five Feet Apart. A great love story with a unique twist. A darling 17-year-old is stuck in a hospital with a sad existence suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. However, she meets a new hospital 17-year-old good looking male patient and there is a big spark from the beginning. The problem, he too has cystic fibrosis and their life depends on them staying 5 feet apart. But can they? Deep, dramatic but with humor. Great date flick and teenagers will love it. Great jobs by stars Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse. (Rated PG-13) – (2 Hours) – (3 Stars).
My grandmother Neena would have turned 120 on St. Patrick’s Day and with baseball around the corner, I’m reminded of one of my favorite Neenaisms. She hated the SF Giants, when I asked her about them she said, “Mike, listen up, you need to line them up, the whole team and mow em down Mike, mow em down!”

The big story last week, about fraudulent admissions to college. All of these stars went to college, and I assume were legitimate, but name the only celebrity who earned a Master or Doctorate degree. Was it Bill Cosby, Common, Jonah Hill or Paul Gimatti?
Answer – Common went to Florida A&M, Jonah Hill went to University of Colorado but Bill Cosby went to Temple but earned a masters at University of Boston.
