Report for Friday, June 12th

Love Nuggets: No surprise Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock are divorcing, the handwriting was on wall when they put put their Los Angeles home on the market. Kelly hasn’t spent much time with Brandon for over a year. Kelly has spent most of her time between Nashville and Montana, where she also has a home. They will share their two children, and I love their names, River Rose and Remington. … This is more lust than love, but Tom Jones is bragging he’s had over 20,000 concubines in last 60 years. How is that possible, that’s almost one a day for 60 years. Busy guy.

TV News: A lot of TV mini-series and shows worth binging this weekend, however the #1 must see is The Great on Hulu and on demand. Elle Fanning and Nicolas Hoult are fabulous as Peter and Catherine the Great in 17th Century Russia. It’s a satire at it’s best! Great costumes, writing and acting. It’s fabulous, creative and addicting.

Movie News: It Is True, several show runners are already trying to secure the rights to the George Floyd story. A movie about his life. No word if there will be any movies about the 4 policemen who have been killed since Floyd was murdered.

And a tease about what I think will be the movie of the year, Unhinged with Russell Crowe. Just a normal day, a soccer mom, played by Caren Pistorius is taking her kids to school when the light turns green and the truck in front of her, driven by Crowe, is slow to go so she lays on the horn. At the next light, Crowe pulls next to her and calmly suggest she apologize for laying on the horn, and that a little beep would have been more polite. Instead of apologizing, she screams at him, tells him to get a life and he becomes, uh, unhinged. Road Rage like you’ve never seen. He crashes into her, and everybody else in sight, and before it’s over, Crowe finds her husband and the terrorizing has just begun. Out Labor Day.
