Super parents, Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban have filled out all the paper work to adopt a child. They already have two daughters, one naturally, one by surrogate.
Movie Reviews: Opening today, Vengeance. It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen all year. Just fabulous! B.J. Novak from The Office has stepped his game up and has hit a home run. B.J. wrote, directed and stars in this very dark, very funny, thought provoking movie. I guarantee, you have never seen a movie like this one. A possible murder, clueless Texas rednecks and a ton of surprises, get your popcorn early! (Rated R) – (1 Hour 45 Minutes) – (4 Stars).
Next, DC League of Super-Pets. It’s a great movie for kids who love their pets. I also think this was a money grab, it only too the stars doing the voices for about two hours to lay down their tracks and they include, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, John Krasinski and others. When Superman and his super hero buds are kidnapped, their pets become super heroes themselves and it is game on! (Rated PG) – (100 Minutes) – (3 Stars).
Hot Movie Scoopage: The two hottest movies in the can but not out yet are both biopics, Oppenheimer, the father of the Atomic Bomb, and, Blonde, the Marilyn Monroe story, starring Ana De Armas, as Marilyn. Produced by Brad Pitt and distributed by Netflix. Ana De Armas sidebar, she was madly in love with Ben Affleck and when Ben got back together with Jennifer Lopez, Ana was devastated. If you ask me, Ana is a lot hotter that J-Lo.
Odds and Ends: Are you familiar with Knott’s Berry Farm? Been in operation for 65 years! It’s sort of a poorman’s Disneyland, only 7 miles from the Magic Kingdom but with more thrill rides. It also has Ms. Knott’s fried chicken restaurant, best Chicken in the U.S.! Anyway, there are felony assaults there every night, so they have a new rule nobody under 17 is allowed, without a chaperone over 25. Crime has gotten that bad. Hey, don’t forget to buy your $1 billion lottery ticket!
