Movie Review Friday: Nope, is produced, written and directed by Jordan Peele and stars Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer and a great supporting cast. It’s a western that includes horse training, a broken down ranch in the middle of nowhere, Hollywood and, are you ready, Aliens. It’s a Sci-Fi, Western that will keep you guessing and on the edge of you seat. Great film making (Rated R) – (2 Hours) – (4 Stars).
Movie News: A lot of movies have had sequels, probably leading the pack, Godzilla, however James Bond has had 24 sequels, and let’s not forget Fast and Furious, X-Men, Batman, Harry Potter and others. And on October 14th, the 13th sequel of Halloween! Appropriately enough it is entitled, Halloween Ends, thank God. Jamie Lee Curtis stars.
Odds and Ends: I don’t get soccer player Megan Rapinoe blasting the U.S. and Russian governments for not getting Brittney Griner back home now. Hey we all want her to return, but yelling at everybody doesn’t help. And remember, Britney has admitted bringing illegal Rx’s into Russia. Megan needs to shut the front door let the experts do their work. … And speaking of Rx’s, Mike Tyson, Seth Rogan, Miley Cyrus and Chelsea Handler will testify in several states recommending magic mushrooms be legalized. Far Out Dude! … I hope the White House press corps isn’t on Rx’s but I watched the one hour press conference yesterday and I have never heard so many stupid questions asked over and over. Pitiful.
