And producers may be backing off on making Ken Jennings the permanent host, the whole process is in a state of flux. … Premiering on Netflix tonight, the 7 episode documentary, Pretend it’s a City. Conversations between Martin Scorsese and the great Fran Lebowitz, discussing their walks around NYC and the hilarious, off the wall, strange, disturbing, rude, entertaining and other New Yorkers they come in contact with. There is no city like New York (4 Stars).

England’s number 1 film rental since Covid started is Joaquin Phoenix’s, Joker. … And England’s BAFTA (British Academy Film and Television Arts) has named the best Television show of the year and it was one of my favorites. Better than, Big, Splash, Sleepless in Seattle, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, Scully, Philadelphia, Castaway and all the others. It’s playing at theaters now.

Odds and Ends:Days of our Lives is getting ratings even bigger than back in the 60’s! Reason, a new audience, between 18-49 found the show and love the show. … Ringo Starr has a new album coming out. Wrote a couple songs with Paul McCartney, and singing on the album with Ringo and Paul are Sheryl Crow, Joe Walsh and Lenny Kravitz.
