Report for Friday, Jan 20th

First, procedure went well. Six days ago I predicted that within 10 days New Mexico would announce charges against Alec Baldwin! Yesterday, Baldwin was formally charged with involuntary manslaughter and faces 18 months in prison. Once again we beat the national media. I will cover Baldwin’s trial in Albuquerque, if and when it happens.

Movie Friday and there are some great movies out there, Avatar: The Way of Water, A Man Called Otto, The Whale, Megan and Plane, all in theaters. The one new movie today, Missing. When a mother and her new boyfriend take a vacation from Los Angeles to Columbia and fail to return when her teenager goes to the airport to pick them up. This mystery thriller picks up speed. Storm Reed and Nia Long star (PG-13) – (100 Minutes) – (3 Stars).

I get e-mails from listeners asking about movies that have left theaters and want to know where they can find them, so here you go. My ratingand then the movie and where to watch it.

3 Stars for The Menu, free on HBO Max.

4 Stars for Everything Everywhere All at Once, is on Showtime free and Apple for rent.

3 Stars for Banshee, Amazon for (free).

4 Stars for The Fablemans on Amazon for rent.

3 ½ Stars for Puss and Boots: The Last Wish on Amazon for rent.

All on Netflix and free, 3 Stars for Glass Onion, 2 ½ Stars, Mars One, 2 Stars, The Pale Blue Eye!

If you watch Yellowstone, 1883, 1923 or Emily in Paris, and like some of the clothes the actors are wearing or some of the props you see, you can buy them! A new website, shopthescenes.com has the exact clothes and props from the shows on their site and they are very reasonably priced. And more shows to come, The Today Show and Tulsa King are not available on line, but if you’re ever in Los Angeles, go to It’s A Wrap retail store located on Magnolia in Burbank, blocks from the Disney Studio. They sell wardrobe actually worn by actors in TV and movies. Years ago I almost bought a shirt worn by Kramer.
