It is a Finally a Friday! And it couldn’t get here soon enough.
Three of the fires continue to burn out of control in Los Crapulous, sewer by the sea. It is so sad. More and more stars have lost their homes, Anthony Hopkins and Billy Crystal just to name a couple more. Hard to believe, and a story you haven’t heard anywhere else, over two dozen people have been arrested for looting areas where residents have been ordered to evacuate. And because of the ridiculous California laws, there are reports that a couple of these scum bags have been arrested, booked and then immediately released because it was not a violent crime, only to go looting again! California is the worst state in this country.
Sidebar: Henry Winkler, The Fonz, says he believes it was an arsonist who started the Hollywood Hills Fire that is 15 miles from the other four fires that started on Wednesday! I told my wife the same thing. Very weird that a fire 15 miles away would pop up! Especially by the Hollywood sign, the Greek Theater and the Griffith Observatory! F.Y.I. It’s not just homes that have burned, over 20 grocery stores, gas stations, schools, restaurants, post offices, doctor offices and more. Even golf courses but not Rivera. Interesting, Jamie Lee Curtis has donated $1 million to the fire relief fund, however she’s the only celebrity to do so.
On a happier note, It’s college and NFL biggies. Here are my picks and I’ll take a bow or pie in the face on Monday when we’ll know how I did, but here is the official Mike Evans Fearless Forecast, Ohio State -5, Baltimore -10, Philadelphia -5, L.A. Chargers -3. Washington +3, Denver +9.5.
