Report for Friday, Feb 7th

Pop Quiz: Name the celebrity who’s dad was a professional Irish football player, took dancing lessons since he was 6, won a Line Dancing contest, and his Idol is Al Pacino. Is it Channing Tatum, Mel Gibson, Conan O’Brien or Colin Farrell?

Movie Review Friday: Birds of Prey is a wacky but stellar, out of this world, amusing, hilarious, shoot-em-up/blow-em-up DC Comic adventure with hot ladies. Ladies include Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Rosie Perez. Ewan McGregor is on their trail as the girls are out of control and anything and everything goes. Just hold on for the ride. Continuity is horrible, while supposedly shot in Gotham New York City, sure saw a lot of Los Angeles in the movie. (Rated R) – (111 Minutes) – (3 Stars).

Next, In limited engagement, and made in New Zealand, Come To Daddy. This film is madness, bloody, deranged, disturbing, twisted, shocking and creepy! So many twists, turns and surprises, you wont believe it. (Rated R) – (100 Minutes) – (3 Stars).

Also in limited release, The Lodge. Starring, Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter, the super hot Riley Keough and the equally hot Alicia Silverstone. It’s about a man, his two children, and his girlfriend and their weekend getaway to his cabin lodge but it becomes a nightmare. Horrifying! This could be the scariest movie of the year, it’ll scare the hell out of you! (Rated R) – (108 Minutes) – (3 Stars).
