Report for Friday, Feb 5th

I got the Super Bowl Mike Evans Fearless, an old Mike Evans story, and a review of the best movie of the young 2021 season.

The Best movie of the year although just a month in is, Judas and the Black Messiah. Based on a true story in the 1960’s. Racial unrest, injustice, lies, manipulation, power struggles, diversion and a love affair. A lot of everything and all compelling. Guaranteed Oscar nomination, Daniel Kaluuya plays Fred Hampton who is compromised by some past mistakes that the FBI decide to use as leverage to make him part of their team. An idea from FBI Director played by Martin Sheen. This movie is perfect for Black History month, film making doesn’t get any better. Great acting, directing, writing, just a great two hour film(4 Stars).

As I’ve mentioned before, there’s a book coming out very soon about a couple years of my life, followed by more stories about my life. Today I want to share one of my stories. When I was 18-19 years old, I was hanging with Sonny and Cher, working in radio, and when taking a girl out for the first date, I wanted it to be a first date she’d never forget. In Gardena, California there was this little very secret, privately owned spot that I knew about and would take my first date too. The Pet Cemetery of the stars, where stars like Jerry Lewis, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Clark Gable, Kirk Douglas, and many other stars buried their pets. Horses, dogs, parakeets, cats, hamsters and more. Now that’s a first date a girl would remember. Some first dates really loved it, others never wanted to see me again. Can you believe it, some thought I was strange! I probably took 20 girls to the Pet Cemetery of the stars. Question, what say you?

As for the Super Bowl, while my picks are not always good during the regular season, my Oscar predictions and Super Bowl predictions are 90% right. I’m making the biggest bet I’ve made all year on K.C. laying 3, but I think they’ll win by 7.
