It’s called, Falling. It’s about the pilot of her flight that learns a half hour before take off that his family has been kidnapped and after takeoff is told he must crash the plane or his family will be killed. This’ll be a big film.
This week’s Movie Reviews: Land with Robin Wright about the wilderness (3 Stars). … Judas and the Black Messiah is finally opening at theaters. A 1960 true story (4 Stars).
Music Review: You don’t need to be a Frank Sinatra or Willie Nelson fan, however Willie’s new second album of Sinatra covers is fabulous! Entitled, That’s Life (4 Stars).
TV Reviews: The TV series, TURN, debuted on Netflix in 2015. and if you missed it, I recommend you check it out, it is binge worthy. It’s a documented story of the American Revolution in general and the spies that won the war in particular. Also an inside look at George Washington and Benedict Arnold with a little love, family and sex (4 Stars).
And Streaming this weekend on Netflix is Leonardo DiCaprio’s 10 year old sci-fi, thriller, Inception. If you haven’t seen this, check it out, one of my favorites (4 Stars). … Last, a confusing movie called, Music. On one hand this movie has been nominated for a Golden Globe Best Picture Comedy/Musical. And on the other hand, this is one of the worst, if not the worst movie I have ever seen. Kate Hudson plays the half sister to Music (that’s her name) played by Maddie Ziegler who has autism and also has a very odd idea about music creativity. But it goes into some of the most bizarre directions, including a goofy, poorly shot fantasy world (-4 Stars).
