Report for Friday, Apr 30th

Love Nuggets: Why is Kanye still wearing his wedding ring? Kim certainly isn’t. … On the other hand, finally Paulina Gretzky, Wayne’s daughter, is going to marry golfer Dustin Johnson. Both have battled booze, but the wedding is set for September.

Movie Review Friday: First up, Separation. When Maggie dies leaving a 7 year old and heart broken widower, her spirit tries to come back along with evil spirits who happens to be double jointed and wear striped prison uniforms. Poorly executed, even worse writing and corny. Sorry, it fails at almost every turn (Rated R) – (107 Minutes too long) – (1 Star). … Next, Triumph. A great film starring Terrence Howard and you might remember RJ Mitte, he was Bryan Cranston’s son in Breaking Bad who had cerebral palsy. Well he’s back playing a high school student and still with cerebral palsy who convinces his coach that he can make the wrestling team. I liked it, a feel good film (Rated PG) – (3 Strong Stars). … And there’s a little hidden gem, Eat Wheaties!, starring Tony Hale as a goofy nerd that is drafted into co-chairing the class reunion at his alma mater, Penn State. He is clueless but has no idea he’s clueless and he’s obsessed with one former classmate, Elizabeth Banks. I liked this off the wall movie but it’s hard to see, available to buy on Fandango and Apple (Rated PG-13) – (96 Minutes) – (3 Stars).

Movie News: George Clooney and Julia Roberts will co-star in Ticket To Paradise as parents of the hottie, Kaitlyn Dever, whose planning to marry a jerk and they are determined to stop it. This sounds more like a Hallmark flick.

TV News: Here comes da plane, da plane, the Fantasy Island reboot on ABC. … Don’t get it, NBC bragging their Peacock+ streamer have signed 42 million viewers, however they claim a net loss of $118 million. Something’s wrong with that picture. … Tiger King Joe Exotic has authorized his attorneys to file a motion for his release with the Supreme Court. The chances of the Justices even seeing it are a million to one.
