Movie Review Friday: All ready out, Father Stu, with Mark Wahlburg and Mel Gibson, about a drug infested boxer turned catholic priest. Loved it (3 Stars). … Next, Fantastic Beast: The Secrets of Dumbledore. A lot of wizard trickery, little weird creatures, and Eddie Redmayne is a magizoologist. This is like Harry Potter on speed. The cinematography and special effects are fabulous, although the story is pretty weak! There are secrets, a threatened war of the worlds. Jude Law also stars. (PG-13) – (2 ½ Stars). … And finally, All the Old Knives. The new CIA hooks up with the old CIA lovers, Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton, and yes, that’s how she pronounces her name, I called her agent! A hijacked plane, betrayal, a scandal and a love story. This is not great but intriguing. Laurence Fishburne has never been better. (Rated R) – (99 Minutes) – (3 Stars)! F.I.Y. yesterday, Thandiwe pulled out of Magic Mike 3 movie, some kind of argument and feud with Channing Tatum.
