I’m guessing a lot of folks are off today, I mean, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Inauguration Day and let’s not forget the National College Championship game tonight between Ohio State and Noter Dame so I’m going to make this short and sweet.
As you know, I had planned to cover the Inauguration in D.C. but at the last minute decided not too. Too cold, and by them moving inside, I wouldn’t have had a seat, only about 40 media will have seats inside. Only room for Congressmen, Senators, the Supreme Court, family and V.I.P.’s. Translation, I’ll be warm and cozy watching at home!
Los Angeles Fire News: Bad news, the Santa Ana Winds are picking up today. Now the good news, most of the fires are under control with the billions and billions of dollars in damage, there are Fire Aid Concerts being planned all over the country over the next 12 months and with some of the biggest names. Who will be preforming, where the concerts will be and when are still being planned, when I find out more I will share. … Steve Crosby lost his home in the Pacific Palisades and all of his dad’s awards were destroyed. Who was Steve Crosby’s dad? He was Bing Crosby, the old crooner and actor of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. He won Oscars, Golden Globes, and even Grammys. A little scoopage, Bing was a total ass. Accused of beating his wife and children. Bet you never heard that story before. Another first just for you.
TV Nuggets: The NBC/Peacock Frasier reboot has been canceled after just 2 seasons. Look I loved the original Frasier, but this reboot was beyond bad.
