Book Review: This Halloween marks the 20th Anniversary of the Over Dose death of River Phoenix, at Johnny Depp’s Viper Room Night Club. The book details the final hours of River’s life, the book is, Running with Monsters by Bob Foster, a friend of River’s who was there when it all went down. Bob said that night some of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, River’s brother Joaquin and Depp all shared cocaine with River and they were all drinking heavily. Then River staggered out of the club and died in the street. Sad.
