TV News – Fox is so excited about their goofy, ‘I want To Marry Harry’ reality show, where girls think they are competing to marry Prince Harry, while in reality TV, Harry is just a look alike, not the Prince. The show has been moved up and will air this week and it is hilarious. OH BOY – just what we need, another singing competition show. This one will be on ABC-TV and hosted by Josh Grobin. It’s called, ‘Rising Star’.
The 9/11 Museum at ground zero opens to the public this week, but a lot of survivors are furious with the huge souvenir stands that sell NYFD Toy trucks, NYFD Dog Rescue Vests, and charms and mugs. It’s goolish and tasteless. Remember, these items sold just feet from where thousands died.
Odds and ends – Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese, Jerry Seinfeld, Johnny Depp were just some of the stars that did a roast for 88 years old Don Rickles who was in great spirits. The sad news is Don has a rare flesh eating disease. Demi Moore is selling her Central Park West triplex apartment for 75 million. There are stories in a new Elvis Presley biopic that despite the king’s Christian reputation the king also had great interest in cults. Music note – Nicole Kidman tour with Keith Urban and she WILL SING. Godzilla was so big this weekend. There will be a sequel – what a surprise.
