Movie Review: Opening today, a fresh, brilliant and happy go lucky hilarious comedy about a heist that goes awry starring Chaning Tatum and Adam Driver back woods brothers and their sister played by Riley Keogh, Elvis Presley’s grand daughter who should get Oscar buz for her part. Also Daniel Craig as the greatest con ever, along with Seth McFarlaine, Hilary Swank and Katie Holmes (Rated PG-13) – (99 Minutes) – (3 Stars).
Movie Reminder: Detroit is currently playing, the true story about one of the worse 2 weeks of American history. It’s a great movie and I recommend it.
Odd and Ends: Not surprised that Bill Murray’s Ground Hog Day on Broadway bombed, and this is after producers leased the theater for 18 months. … Honestly, 51 year old Cindy Crawford could be the twin sister of her 15 year old daughter, Kaia. It’s amazing, talk about a hot pocket. … Great television all weekend– Little League Baseball World Series (4 Stars). … PETA’s has been hounding Bon Jovi for years because his clothing line features leather collars and tassels, but Bon Jovi has finally relented, no more leather. … So sorry to report of the death of buddy Tommy Hawkins, a great player for the Los Angeles Lakers, former VP of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
