Movie Reviews: The new Power Rangers movie is about the same as the last two, weak. It’s amazing they could spend so much on effects and the script is so bad, the effects are lost. One nugget, one of the Rangers, Trini is a lesbian, played by actress Becky G. Elizabeth Banks looks great, Bryan Cranston is strong, but the only way you’ll love this movie is if you go in with low expectations (PG13) – (2 Hours) – (2 Stars). As I said, Life opens today, and in a word, wow! It’s a Sci-Fi, adventure, action packed, heavy drama with plenty of terror, not for the faint of heart. The usually safe International Space Station becomes a house of horrors when the six astronauts learn there is life on Mars, and that life is going to put an end to theirs in some ugly ways. Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson and Ryan Reynolds star (Rated R) – (103 Minutes) – (3 Stars).
