So we’ve been told that there must always be 2 people in the cockpit of United States airlines at all times, no exceptions, however, Delta #1651 January 29 from Vegas to Minneapolis returned and landed back in Las Vegas an hour after takeoff when the pilot went to the bathroom got locked out of the cockpit and the second officer, alone had to land the plane.
