New TV Show – Katie Holmes is currently shooting a new pilot for ABC-TV called “Dangerous Liaisons” – it’s called a High Society drama. Tom Cruise isn’t happy about it. He believes Katie should be a stay at home mom.
Hollywood is bidding to make a biopic about Mary Virginia Jones, who was just released from prison after serving 37 years for a murder she didn’t commit. In prison, she became an ordained minister and preached in jail everyday. In the 80’s, she was dating a violent man who forced her at gunpoint to drive him to a robbery where he killed a store owner. Despite a history of the boyfriend abusing her, and him saying he held her at gunpoint, it was not allowed into the trial. Prison authorities called Mrs. Jones the nicest human being they had ever met and even threw her a party when she was released.
Odds and ends – Russell Brand has secured his 2 Year Chip – sober 2 years. Justin Bieber wants to take acting lessons. Michael Douglas pulled a lot of strings to get his son, Cameron, out of solitary confinement. Now that Cameron is out of solitary, Michael is seeing his son again on a regular basis. Paris Jackson is out of her 24/7 rehab and doing much better, calmer, relaxed.
