TV News: On November 16, Netflix will release a truly fabulous comedy series, The Kominsky Method. It’s all about getting old. Michael Douglas is Sandy Kominsky who had a quick brush with fame as an actor when young, but now at 75 he has a 2-bit acting school teaching his Kominsky method. However, he mainly hangs out with his old codger buddies who all see their lives changing with time. Alan Arkin is a regular, and cameos will include Danny DeVito, Woody Allen, Dick Van Dyke and many others. Netflix has 8 in the can, but I expect a lot more.
It appears there will be a Frasier reboot. Kelsey Grammer who has talked to most of the old cast members including David Hyde Pierce as well as Ted Danson, Kirstie Alley, Shelley Long and Woody Harrelson, who starred in Cheers where Frasier first started. The only cast member who has died is John Mahoney. I think it’s going to happen.
