The Pop Quiz theme all week is Presidential trivia. Today, name the President who was a sheriff previously, and he actually pulled the trap door that hung two men! This President also had a tumor removed from the roof of his mouth and is on public display at a Museum. Is it Harry Truman, Grover Cleveland, Ulysses Grant or William Taft? I Don’t make this stuff up folk.
Another “Don’t you know who I am”: This goofy looking dude on the upgrade list for a flight from Florida to L.A. goes up to the gate agent and quietly reminds her, “You know celebrities are usually moved up to the front of the upgrade list.” The agent looks at his ticket, Frank Butera, asks are you a celebrity and he drops the, “Don’t You Know Who I Am.” Obviously she didn’t, and he disgustedly informs her, I’m Ariana Grande’s brother. For the record, Ariana and her non-celebrity brother, mother’s maiden name is Grande but their real last name is Butera. The agent had no way of knowing that plus he’s not a celebrity. Double dummy.
Odds and Ends: I think it’s funny that a company in the midwest is selling scarecrows that have the exact same face as Kathy Griffin. … Cops are hush-hush, Is it True? Police are investigating death threats against two jurors who voted guilty against Bill Cosby. These threats are so serious that the jurors are getting 24/7 police protection. Personally I think it’s a hoax.
Movie News: Everybody in town is talking about First Man, the first man to walk on the moon, the Neil Armstrong story starring Ryan Gossling. Someday I’ll share the day I met Neil Armstrong, and I was star stuck.
