Show business/business – The Canadian Government wants to cut down on foreigners coming to Canada and taking jobs away from locals. They have passed some new laws, and one will mean a lot, a lot FEWER TV and movies being shot in Canada. Meanwhile, TV and movie production is at an all time low in Los Angeles. TV Ratings, we all homers, US/Portugal World Cup game was #1 last week, and the Uruguay/England game was dead last place #85. Jennifer Lopez new album sold an unbelievably horrible 33,000 albums – HORRIBLE. A new Broadway musical about Tupac Shakur featuring his music opened last week. It will close next week, biggest bomb in 45 years.
Odds and ends – Tiger Woods is back playing golf, today. I’m guessing TV ratings will be much higher than when he was gone. Prediction – won’t make the cut. Jennifer Lopez is reaching out and offering to be a mentor to Selena Gomez. With J-Lo’s album bombing like it did, Selena might want to think twice.
