Report for Friday, Mar 13th

Pop Quiz: Yesterday we had the best place to vacation in the entire world according to the Travel Channel. Today, according to Travel and Leisure, these are the top 4 vacation spots in the United States, but which is #1? Is it Austin, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; Honolulu, Hawaii or Taos, New Mexico?

Movie Review Friday: And the best opening in limited release today and everywhere in 2 weeks is Never Rarely Sometimes Always. When ever you can go, see it! This is an unbelievable, touching story about a high school girl, an unintended pregnancy, a close friend and a journey to New York City to find help and answers. Unknown actors Sidney Flanigan and Talia Ryder star in this unforgettable film. (95 Minutes) – (4 Stars).

Also in limited release, I Still Believe. A spiritual movie based on a true story about Jeremy Camp, a Christian music superstar who faces a tragedy that would test anybodies faith. Heart breaking, heart warming, tear jerking story that might change lives of people who see it. Starring K.J. Apa, Shania Twain and buddy Gary Sinise. (Rated PG) – (115 Minutes) – (3 ½ Stars).

Last and least, Bloodshot. Which is more proof that Vin Diesel can’t act a lick. Vin plays the comic book soldier Bloodshot, A.K.A. Ray Garrison who is killed and is brought back to life. He should have stayed dead, the only good thing about this film was part of it was shot in Hawaii. (Rated PG-13) – (2 Hours) – (1 Star).

And a reminder, 3 great shows on Netflix, Peaky Blinders, The Five and The Stranger. Recommend all three.

Coronavirus Update: You may have seen pictures of Naomi Campbell wearing a head-to-toe Hazmat suit at LAX, but there was a woman wearing the same suit at at Trader Joes earlier in the week in Malibu, now believed that too, was Naomi Campbell. … And despite the denials that it’s just a cold, America’s Got Talent staffers are worried that Heidi Klum’s absent from the show is more than just a cold, if you get my drift.

Answer – #4 Taos, #3 San Antonio, #2 Honolulu, and #1 Austin, Texas.
