Hang it up dude, aloha, sayonara, bye bye, It’s over. … As I predicted two weeks ago, it was basically confirmed in London papers yesterday, there will be a Downton Abbey sequel, and that should not be a surprise. … I’ll see The Irishman movie tonight and will review it tomorrow. Can’t wait, I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. Word is that it’s Martin Scorsese’s best movie ever.
Head’s up, Eddie Murphy has two films coming out and he’s booked an 8 city stand-up tour, and Eddie promises it’ll be hilarious. Says, “When I did stand-up years ago, I was horrible, not funny and the material was ignorant. But not this time.” I can’t wait. … Leonardo DiCaprio cries about climate change more than any celebrity, and just so you know, he brags he flew 100,000 miles last year in his leased 737 jet, spreading the word of climate change. So I put a pencil to his carbon foot print. A 737 has 2 engines, each burns 1000 gallons of fuel an hour– so 2,000 gallons an hour. If my math is right, his 100,000 miles burned 400,000 gallons to spread the word. Now that’s a footprint.
Odds and Ends: A poll in California shows, 54% of people who live in California would move immediately, if they had the money and another job waiting for them.
