Report for Friday, July 19th

It’s my last day here in Florida, great family reunion, and once again my 92 year old aunt Tilly asked me when I was going to get a real job. Aunt Tilly has been asking that question for decades, but I still love the old hag.

A Potpourri of Pop Quiz questions this week. Today, since I’m in Florida and can’t help but note there’s a lot more varmints, vermin, and creatures here, this is your question. What city has the most Rats? Is it Boston, Philadelphia, New York or Washington D.C.?

Here’s a huge, It Is True, some of the women’s soccer team really, really wanted to go to the White House, but Rapinoe as the captain, insisted they needed to present a united front. Insisted nobody go, and now several players are very bitter. And It Is True, shocker…Vanna White makes her living by just turning letters on Wheel of Fortune, however she just put her Beverly Hills home up for sale, price is $51.2 Million.

Movie News: With new writers and LeBron hooking up w/Bugs Bunny in Space Jam 2 is going to be a great sequel, And look for a lot of cameos.

Movie Reviews: Okay, I’ve already reviewed two movies opening today. First, the new Lion King, it’s good but not as good as the first, only (2 ½ Stars). Then there’s the The Art of Self-Defense, with Jesse Eisenberg who’s a shy book keeper who gets beat up by a motorcycle gang and takes karate lessons with very hilarious results. You’ll love this, I did, (3 Stars) all day long. … Now, I want everybody to look for the movie, Rosie. Made in Ireland, about a family of 2 parents and 3 kids who are shocked when their landlord sells their rented house and they become homeless. Shockingly heartbreaking, touching and a movie that you will remember for a lifetime. Please try to find, Rosie, and see it, fabulous in so many ways (4 Stars).

Answer – #4 Washington D.C., #3 New York City, #2 Boston, #1 Philadelphia.
