Movie Friday, I recommend Spider-Man: Far From Home, Rocket Man, Yesterday, and Toy Story 4. however, Midsommar opens today and to be honest, I wish I never saw it. Decades ago I took some magic mushrooms and had a really bad trip. Couldn’t sleep, threw up, and had an un-easy feeling for days and that horrible trip would be a day at Disneyland. Better off going to the beach and hitting the lottery compared to this sick, disturbing, disgusting, psychotic movie, but hey that’s just me. Rotten Tomatoes loved it, calling it very artful and cutting edge. Trust them or me, for me it’s (0 Stars) – (Rated R) – (101 Minutes).
Hollywood’s Cash Cow Award goes to the movie Ma, starring Octavia Spencer. The movie cost $5 million and has made $61 million even before pay per view and rentals.
Over 132,000 people moved out of California last year, a U-Haul truck from California to Arizona or New Mexico or Texas cost $1,465. But to rent a truck from any of those states to California only cost $101. What does that tell you? Supply and demand.
